Gobnjak, a small start-up run by Rok Zalokar and Primož Turnšek, presents the process of mushroom cultivation as a contemporary food design activity. They demonstrate the thinking and working process of growing and using mushrooms at home, and run a workshop on extracting tinctures. They also present mushroom packaging made in collaboration with Salto Dionys – a micro-craft enterprise producing ceramic tableware.

Gobnjak is a small company based in Ljubljana that specialises in the cultivation and processing of culinary and medicinal mushrooms. They produce tinctures from medicinal mushrooms, educate the public about mushroom cultivation and ecology, and offer a range of products to enable individuals to grow their own mushrooms at home.
What sets them apart is that every step, from cultivating the mycelium to producing the tincture, takes place within the company, allowing them to maintain control over all production processes. Gobnjak is run by bioengineer Rok Zalar and microbiology graduate Primož Turnšek.
