Eva Pavlič Seifert and Aljaž Celarc are internationally recognised artists, wood workshop mentors, regenerative growers and artisans. Together they form the artistic tandem P L A T E A U R E S I D U E and are working on the Hiša Mandrova project. In Milan, they created an open learning environment where visitors can participate in the process of working with a traditional tool called a shaving horse and take part in a workshop on basket weaving with fresh wood.

Their aim is to create an open learning environment and to share ideas for self-sufficient, ecological and grounded living.
In their work they seek a deeper connection with nature, explore new approaches to self-sufficiency, innovative uses of wood and the creation of a like-minded community.
