The founders of Toasted Furniture use a home-made machine to press recycled plastic into a unique material, which they use to make small series of furniture. In a smaller setting, they iron pieces of used plastic packaging with visitors and work with Rok Oblak (Salto Dionys) to make coasters for his ceramic planters.

OPENING
Toasted Furniture features products made from recycled plastic, designed and made by Nina Mršnik and Nuša Jelenec in their workshop in Ljubljana. They use their custom-built machine to “bake” plastic sheets, which are then transformed into small series of unique pieces.
The entire process – from raw material to finished product – is carried out under their supervision, giving them the freedom to experiment with different techniques, patterns and shapes, while constantly refining their production methods.
