PJORRKALA

Pjorkkala at
MATERIAL BAR

Pjorkkala, a collective of young designers Žan Girandon, Pia Groleger and Luka Pleskovič, work with clay, a traditional material, using modern technologies such as 3D printing. Their 3D-printed clay water filter, Dodola, provides purified water for hand washing in the closed-loop system of the central “bar”. In Milan, zeolite filtration is being used for the first time. This 3D-printable material has physical properties that improve cleaning performance.
